Cengiz Ünder, the former Real Madrid and Galatasaray striker, has been in fine form this season at Marseille. The Turkish international has scored seven goals in his first eight appearances for the Ligue 1 club.
Ünder's performances have been nothing short of sensational, with his pace, skill and creativity causing problems for opponents. He is also a dangerous threat from set-pieces, having scored four goals from direct free-kicks and one from a corner.
The 28-year-old has also provided some excellent assists, including a beautiful strike against Lille that was described as "impressive" by Marseille manager Rudi Garcia. His ability to score and create goals at a high level is something that has been missing from the Marseille attack so far this season.
However,Ligue 1 Snapshot Ünder's performances have not gone unnoticed, with several clubs reportedly interested in signing him. Paris Saint-Germain, who were heavily linked with a move for the player last summer, have now signed another striker, but Ünder remains a target for many top-flight teams.
It will be interesting to see how Ünder performs for Marseille going forward, and whether he can continue his impressive form to help them challenge for a place in Europe next season.
